Puritan Belief

The Puritans are the men of God who started in the 16th century building on the purity of the gospel message that Salvation is by Grace alone.

Questions Christians Can’t Answer !

Or perhaps don’t want to answer.

1. Did your Father in heaven die for you on the cross?
(Hebrews 9:16-17)  "As long the Father lives the inheritance does NOT belong to the children".
So then, if your Father did NOT die for you on the cross, then you have NO inheritance in God. In other words, "You will die in your sins; unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins" (John 8:44).

2. Who do you think is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ?
The Scriptures which can't be broken said, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the Holy child shall be called the Son of the most High God" (Luke 1:35)
Which one do you call your Father who is in heaven, is it Jehovah, Yahweh or Allah or who?

3. The Lord Jesus asked them a question, "The Lord said unto My Lord, Sit at My right hand, until I put Your enemies beneath Your feet?
If David then calls Him Lord, how can He be his son? (Matthew 22:44-46)
And no man was able to answer Him a word, nor did anyone dare from that day on to asked Him another question."

4. Please tell me, in the New Testament, why did the Father NEVER EVER appear to the Lord Jesus Christ, or to anyone else?
For example, the temptation in the desert? (Matthew 4:1-11)
At the transfiguration? (Matthew 17:27)
In the garden of Gethsemane? (Matthew 26:36-46)
And at the cross, when Jesus was crucified ?  (Matthew 27:33-56)

5. And why did the Father never talk to the Lord Jesus Christ?

6. Where was the Father when the Lord Jesus Christ was in the manger as a baby? (Luke 2:16-20).

7. Why is it, that Christians who are called by His Name deny that the Lord Jesus Christ is their Father who is in heaven?
The Lord Jesus Christ said, "I have come in My Father’s Name, and you do NOT receive Me; if another comes in his own name you receive him."  (John 5:43)

Seven questions which every Christian should be able to answer.
Please let me hear your thoughts on anyone of those questions.

Paul,
the Father is Spirit and Jesus was born of His Spirit. When we are born of God's Spirit we become a child of God too. Jesus was the firstborn of many brethren.

Romans ch. 8 vs. 28 and 29 read:-

'And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.'

Hi Brenda, most Christians would agree with you for saying that :-)
But they, just like you end up with two or three gods, or worst of all the Father is some another deity, separate from the Lord Jesus Christ, a god whom you call Yahweh.
And that is where your deception is.

From here on everything you say, or even quote from the Scriptures will support this graven error that the Lord Jesus Christ is NOT the Lord God the creator of heaven and earth. And therefore you will always point to this other god in one way or another.

You said, “the Father is Spirit and Jesus was born of His Spirit. When we are born of God's Spirit we become a child of God too. Jesus was the firstborn of many brethren.”

Here you make out that the Father is another deity, other than the Lord Jesus Christ, and Jesus was born of that other deity’s ‘S’ spirit.
Well, that is NOT true Brenda.

And when we are born of God’s Spirit, we did NOT become children to God, just as much as you cannot become a child to the Queen of England.

Don’t you believe the Scriptures, that we were in Christ Jesus BEFORE the foundation of the world ?
Or perhaps, should I say, that we were in God before the world began ?
Well, either way you should have said, when we are born of God’s Spirit we were REVEALED to this world that we are the children of our Father God Jesus Christ.

Tell me Brenda, do you think that Jesus needed to be born again in order to be the firstborn of many brethren ?

Paul,
I have not said these things - they are written in the scriptures.

Matthew ch. 1 vs. 17-19:- 'In all, then, there were fourteen generations from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Christ. This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged in marriage to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with Child through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband, a righteous man, was unwilling to disgrace her publicly, he resolved to divorce her quietly.…

You see Paul it was through the Holy Spirit that Jesus was conceived. He was not born of the flesh, He was the only begotten Son of God.

We are first born of the flesh, but we have to become children of God by believing on Jesus and be born of the Spirit to have eternal life.

'…He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God — children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God.…'

Yes Benda, you have said, and I quote, “the Father is Spirit and Jesus was born of His Spirit. When we are born of God's Spirit we become a child of God too. Jesus was the firstborn of many brethren.”

That is NOT Scripture, that is your opinion of the Scripture Brenda.
We all have opinions and so do I. And errors are in our opinions and not in the Scriptures.
When you quote a passage of the Scripture to me without your opinion, I can’t answer you, that is because I believe the Scriptures to be the Word of God faultless and without errors, therefore I need your opinion.

So then, when you say that, “When we are born of God's Spirit we become a child of God too.”
Or, “We are first born of the flesh, but we have to become children of God by believing on Jesus and be born of the Spirit to have eternal life.”

That is your opinion, and certainly not true.
As I have said, no one becomes a child of God by believing.
‘For you were NOT born by the will of the flesh nor by the will of man, but by the will of God’ (John 1:13).
So here you can see that a man in NOT born again by believing or by jumping through any hoops.
Jesus said that it is NOT by your believing or by you doing anything that you are in Christ, it is by HIS DOING that you are in Christ (1 Cor. 1:30).

And yes, Jesus gave them the RIGHT to become children of God, and He did NOT give the devil's children the right to become His children, and those children were NOT born by their own will but by the will of the Lord Jesus Christ
Why ?
Because they were in Christ before the foundation of the world. Children have to be in their Father in order to be considered His children.

You said, ”You see Paul it was through the Holy Spirit that Jesus was conceived. He was not born of the flesh, He was the only begotten Son of God.”

Yes, but the Holy Spirit IS Jesus !
The Holy Spirit is NOT another person or entity or a god as you suppose.
You see, you need to believe the Scriptures Brenda. 2 Cor. 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit.

And the Lord Jesus Christ WAS born IN the flesh, and for that reason He was CALLED the only begotten Son of God, meaning ‘the only one of a kind’.

Tell me Brenda, do you think that Jesus needed to be born again in order to be the firstborn of many brethren ?

It is all scriptural, as I have shown you Paul. Jesus was born of God's Spirit and had to learn obedience through the things He suffered.

'During the days of Jesus’ earthly life, He offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the One who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverence. Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered, and having been made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him…'

All authority was given to Him by God, as stated in Matthew ch. 28 vs. 18-20.

'And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' Amen.

All words taken from the Bible Paul.

Tell me Brenda, who is the one who could save the Lord Jesus Christ from death ?

Are you suggesting that there are TWO saviors ?

Don’t you believe the Scriptures that there is NO OTHER Name given in heaven and on earth whereby you must be saved ?

Well, it is obvious that you do not understand the Scriptures at all Brenda.
The reason is, you don’t believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that’s why you cannot understand the Scriptures.
And for the same reason you are disobedient to the Lord Jesus Christ and baptizing the ignorant into three titles.

That is right Paul, there is no other name GIVEN by which we must be saved.
As John ch. 14 v.6 states:-

'Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except THROUGH Me.
Jesus is the One mediator between man and God.

'For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all—the testimony that was given at just the right time.…' 1Timothy 2 vs. 5 and 6.

I love the way that scripture answers scripture.

Tell me Benda, are you saying that there is another god called Yahweh who could save the saviour from death ?

Just look and think, and don’t gloss over it, you have been quoting, “During the days of Jesus’ earthly life, He offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the One who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverence.”

Well, does the savior need a saviour to save Him from death ?

You have been quoting that Brenda, so please give me an answer.

Furthermore, you also have quoted, “Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered, and having been made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him…' “

Do you really think that the Lord Jesus Christ was as a disobedient sinner who had to be made perfect ? or is it that you just don’t understand the Scriptures ?

Look Brenda, we both know that you are not only just quoting the Scriptures, you are teaching your listeners to believe in a God called Yahweh who had a disobedient son and he had to learn obedience.

Well, I would NOT believe in a saviour who was a sinner who had to be made perfect.
And such a saviour cannot save you either Brenda.

No Brenda, there is NOT only one teacher as you have said, there are many teachers, also false teachers, and anyone who teaches stands under a greater judgement than those who do not teach (James 3:1).

There is only One true teacher Paul, the Holy Spirit who will lead us into all truth. John ch. 14 v. 26 reads:-

'But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.'

This is scripture Paul, and it is actually words that came out of Jesus' mouth.

You said, “This is scripture Paul, and it is actually words that came out of Jesus' mouth.”

Look Bernda, you do NOT believe one word of that which you have said.

Just think, if there is only the Holy Spirit who would be your God Yahweh, then the Lord Jesus Christ would be a FALSE teacher, perhaps just like me.

I said the Holy Spirit is the One Who will lead us into all truth. Didn't you read the scripture that reveals what Jesus said Paul, just like you do not read many scriptures?

'But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.'

Paul, you are making yourself almost laughable, and proving to be a 'false teacher'. I may soon stop interacting with you because you are so indoctrinated that you refuse to acknowledge scripture.

Look Brenda, I am a big boy and I can read the Scripture myself without you spelling it out.
I told you that you don’t need to quote metaphors to me, without telling me what those metaphors mean.
We both know that you believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is NOT the God of the Bible, don’t we ?
In fact you believe that the God of the Bible is a god called Yahweh, but you just can’t find his name in the Bible, why is that Brenda ?
And now you are quoting metaphors in order to separate the Father from the Lord Jesus Christ, and hope that no one will point it out to you.

Well, someone has to, may as well be me.
And you would do well, if you would listen, because I speak in the Name of the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the one you claim to be your God.

And exactly where am I indoctrinated ? and by which doctrine ?
And which Scriptures do I refuse to acknowledge ?

Paul,
it is time for me, like everyone else has, to no longer interact with you. There is no more I can, or need, to say to you. You must work out your own salvation.

Yea Brenda, you can do just as I have said over at your blog, you don’t have to answer that, you can put your head in the sand and pretend that the Lord Jesus has never spoken to you about that.

Well, If you think that you are a Christian, and if your Father in heaven did NOT die for you on the cross, then you have NO inheritance in God.
That is my first question on this post.

If you would like to be the recipient of an inheritance in God, then you need to believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is your Father who is in heaven.

Why is it that all Christians refuse to believe that their Father is the Lord Jesus Christ and claim that their Father is a god called Jehovah ?
Why is that ?

For those who accidently come to this blog, please look into the Word of God, for yourself. The truth is there, not here.

As for the answers to the questions.

1. Did your Father in heaven die for you on the cross?
No, The Bible says His Son did.

2. Who do you think is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ?
I know you don't want to hear it, but the Bible says YHWH.

So.....What's the question? It's obvious that God is not talking to himself. It's time to open your eyes to the truth of God's Word.

4. Please tell me, in the New Testament, why did the Father NEVER EVER appear to the Lord Jesus Christ, or to anyone else?

The Bible says that the Fullness of God dwelled and is dwelling inside Y'shus. You would know this if your read your Bible.

5. And why did the Father never talk to the Lord Jesus Christ?

The same answer as #4. If the fullness of God dwells within you, like every believer, you don't need to have an audible voice.

6. Where was the Father when the Lord Jesus Christ was in the manger as a baby?

Good Question. You don't have a biblically supported answer for that.

7. Why is it, that Christians who are called by His Name deny that the Lord Jesus Christ is their Father who is in heaven?

Simply put, The Bible doesn't say that the son is the father and the father is the son or other foolishness of your false doctrine. It's time to start reading the bible for what it says, not what is your fantasies.

Thank you my friend for accidentally dropping by :-) I commend you for trying to answer my questions.

1. So then, if your God did not die, you have absolutely no inheritance in your God.
In other words, if your Father did not die, then, you as his son would have no inheritance of your Father, for as the Father still lives the inheritance does not belong to his son.

2. Yes my friend, I would like to hear you say it, but you just can’t say it, no matter how hard you try, you just can’t say it. Those four letters YHWH have no vowels and you just can’t say it !
And for that reason you must invent something like ‘Jehovah’ or ‘Yahweh’ etc. but the Bible does not say that, you have added that yourself.

3. Well, Jesus Himself asked that question.
And why couldn’t the wise guys give Him an answer ?
Didn’t the Lord Jesus Christ Himself had to swear by Himself because there was no grater one to be found (Hebr. 6:13 and Genesis 22:16) ?

4. What does that mean, the fullness of God dwells in Jesus Christ ?
Doesn’t that mean that Jesus is the Lord God Emmanuel ? and the Son ?
Well my friend, blind Freddy can see that :-)

5. The same answer as on 4. The Lord Jesus Christ IS that God and Father and there was no other Father who could speak to Him.

6. Yes that is a good question. And how do you know what I do have and what I don’t have ?
(2 Cor. 5:9) God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.
Or in other words, God was in the baby Jesus Christ reconciling the world to this little baby.

But however, you still refuse to be reconciled to Jesus Christ.

7. Yes, the Bible DOES say that the Father is the Son.
(John 10:30) “I and the Father are ONE”, and NOT TWO as you teach, and “He who has seen Me has seen the Father” (John 14:9). “For to US is but ONE God the Father (1 Cor. 8:6).

Yes you need to look in the Word of God the Bible and don’t believe in your own man made doctrines who teach you that Jesus Christ is not God

Brenda, if ONLY His son would have died, then the inheritance would still NOT be yours.

As I have said, ONLY if the Father died the inheritance is yours.
And for this reason the Father came (Immanuel) to die on the cross, ONLY for His children.

Obviously, something the unbelievers will not understand.

Regarding inheritance Paul, in John ch. 16 v. 15 Jesus says 'All that the Father has is mine'

June 12, 2018 7:40 PM   Edit
Blogger Paul G said...

Yes Brenda, and you know why, because Jesus IS the Father.

(Hebrews 9:16-17) "As long the Father lives the inheritance does NOT belong to the children", especially the son.
You see, if the Father didn’t die, then the son would NOT have an inheritance, it still would belong to the Father.
But because Jesus is our Father who is in heaven, and it was Him, our Father who died on the cross for us, so that we could have an inheritance, now, while we still live on this earth.

And from the time we were born again, we call Jesus, "Abba Father”. Christ's sons (Christians).

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. One God, blessed Trinity.

Paul, do you follow Puritan Theology ? I've read some of your comments regarding the Trinity and don't quite grasp what you mean. You seem to say Jesus the Father, Jesus the Son and Jesus the Holy Spirit. Jesus is God in the Flesh, is he not ? Sorry If I've missed something.
